Extra-Curricular Activities

EPS offers many opportunities for students to get involved in activities that interest them outside the classroom. Some of these are run by the school while other programs take place at school but are run by outside providers.

Instrumental music lessons

An instrumental music program is offered within the school, operated by Red Notes.

Instrumental lessons are offered as either private or group sessions. Tuition in guitar, drums, percussion, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, keyboard and violin is available. Lessons are held on Tuesdays. Grade 5 and 6 students may only have instrumental lessons during recess or lunch.

Modern Vocal Group

All Year 3/4 students are encouraged to join the Modern Vocal Group.

Year 5/6 Bands

Year 5/6 students are given the opportunity to participate in instrumental bands as well as a drumming group. More information about musical opportunities at EPS is provided here.

EPS hires out its courts to the many basketball teams made up of EPS students from Prep to Year Six that play weekly basketball games at MSAC. These are parent-managed teams coordinated outside of the school, which generally train at EPS before or after school on weekdays.
